Privacy Policy and notice

Version 2026-10-15. This notice explains what Corporate Luck by Chance keeps, why, for how long and who sees it. It stands on its own: you do not need any other page to understand it. This notice is available in Hindi on request: write to [email protected].

Who is responsible

The organizer who invites you decides why your nickname is used for the game. IT Services by Rajat Agarwal provides the software and handles your details on the organizer’s behalf. For the organizer’s own account, sign-in and billing, we decide.

What we collect, and why

  • From a player: a nickname, to show you in the game. A random id of your phone, kept only as a scrambled code, so that one place stays on one phone. Who invited you, so the organizer’s limits work. Your two ticks (this notice and your age). We do not ask players for a mobile number or an e-mail address. If the organizer puts your mobile number in an invitation list, it is used only to send your personal link.
  • From the organizer and Hosts: name, e-mail, mobile number, company name and billing details, to run the account, send mail and issue invoices.
  • From people who visit the public pages: a random visitor id (one cookie, kept one year), a shortened network address, city and the pages seen, to see how companies find the site. Game pages are never tracked. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we only count the visit.
  • From every page: page speed and error reports (the page, the device type, the country and what went wrong; no name and no network address), to find crashes and slow pages.
  • From anyone whose request is refused or fails (a wrong key, a failed payment, a blocked try): a security record with the time, the country, the browser and the first part of the network address only (the last part is cut off before it is stored), to keep the game safe.

What we do not do

  • We never e-mail players.
  • We do not sell personal data and we run no advertising trackers.
  • We do not show players’ names to anyone outside the game.
  • We do not use players’ details to train an AI. The organizer’s AI assistant never receives a player’s name or number.

How long we keep it

  • A player’s nickname, seat, phone code, invitation record and requests are deleted within 24 hours after the game ends. Our job runs at 23 hours. While the game runs, nicknames are also held as plain text so that every phone can show the top-10 list; they go with the rest.
  • The final places are kept for 365 days as seat numbers, without names. The prize texts the organizer typed are kept for the same time.
  • The organizer’s details and the game’s settings are kept until 365 days after the game, or until the organizer closes the account.
  • We keep billing data for audit and tax reasons.
  • The security record of a game is kept 365 days. Its personal part for players is destroyed at the same 23 hours as the nicknames.
  • The security record of an anonymous visitor (the last item above) is kept 90 days.
  • Visits to the public pages are kept 365 days, then only anonymous daily totals remain.
  • Page speed and error reports are kept 90 days.
  • The log of mail sent (the address and the subject) is kept 3 days.

Who receives your details

  • Cloudflare: hosts the website and keeps the database. The website runs on Cloudflare’s global network; the database is in Cloudflare’s Asia-Pacific region.
  • Resend: sends e-mail to organizers and Hosts.
  • Razorpay: takes the organizer’s payment. We never see or store card details.
  • The IT Services payment service (itservices-rajat-agarwal.pages.dev): records each payment for the organizer’s invoice and our accounts.
  • GitHub: runs our scheduled jobs and holds a private copy of the payment records. It never holds players’ details.
  • Google: only if an organizer chooses “Continue with Google” to sign in.
  • YouTube, in privacy mode: only if an organizer adds a video, and then your phone contacts it.
